Deniz Mahir Dagtekin is an architectural designer, researcher, and educator based in NYC whose work investigates how architecture operates at the intersection of technology, media, and cultural belief systems.

His projects explore how images, infrastructures, and narratives shape the production and perception of space, treating architecture as a framework that reflects and influences social and political conditions. Working through installations, research-driven design, and experimental fabrication, he translates critical inquiry into spatial form.

Educated in Stuttgart, Paris, and New York, Dagtekin’s transnational perspective informs a practice attentive to culture, subculture, and geopolitics. He currently teaches at Columbia GSAPP alongside Bernard Tschumi.
